A Really Nice Restoration of classic 18″ cars
You are looking at a really neat early standard gauge set of three passenger cars. These are three of the larger sized passenger cars in standard gauge.  These were very nicely restored at some point in their lives.
The paint job is the dark green color from the postwar stable of colors with orange trimwork and maroon doors, windows. The 428/429/430 cars are similar to the 420/421/422 series Blue Comet cars EXCEPT the 428/429/430 cars came with 200-series four wheel trucks. CONDITION:
Beautiful restoration. Nice paint job and printing. If you look super close, you can see a few small dents in the roof of the original body, prior to the repaint, bt they are not that noticeable. Hard to photograph, but we did try for you–look at and enlarge the pics. A few of the gold print stampings have a small part missing or rubbed; again, this is small, and you have to get real close to notice (such as on the observation stamping, one side). These are really small things, but I like to be as picky as possible for you. All in all, a
really
nice looking pair.

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
